DESCRIPTION:Get ready to light up the night sky in Ocean City\, MD\, this Independence Day! Join us on Thursday\, July 4th\, for an unforgettable celebration featuring two simultaneous fireworks displays\, live DJ entertainment\, and plenty of family fun. Whether you’re enjoying the festivities at Northside Park or soaking up the vibrant atmosphere on the Boardwalk at Caroline Street\, you’ll experience the magic of fireworks sparkling over the beach and the bay. Bring your family\, friends\, beach chairs\, and blankets for a patriotic celebration you won’t want to miss!\n\n\n\n\nLocations:\n\n 	Northside Park: 125th Street and the bay\n\n 	Enjoy Radio Ocean City with BK & Chrissy as your DJ’s from 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.\n 	Spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.\n 	Note: The soccer field and walking path on the northwest side of the park will be closed for viewing due to safety precautions.\n\n\n 	Ocean City’s Boardwalk: Beach at Caroline Street\n\n 	DJ Kutt starts at 8:00 p.m.\n 	Fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m.\n 	Bring beach chairs or blankets and claim a spot on the sand for a unique fireworks display set to music.\n\n\n\nParking and Transportation:\n\n 	Inlet Parking Lot: Parking rate will increase to $5 per hour for the day.\n 	Coastal Highway Bus Service: Available from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. for $4 (ride-all-day pass). Expect delays and full buses.\n 	West Ocean City Park & Ride: Free parking with $4 ride-all-day shuttle service to and from Dorchester Street and St. Louis Avenue\, available from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Expect traffic delays and high rider demand.\n\nImportant Notes:\n\n 	Route 50 Bridge Closure: The span of the Route 50 Bridge will remain closed to marine traffic at the 10:25 p.m. and 10:55 p.m. opening times. It will reopen at 11:25 p.m.\n 	Safety Reminder: The Ocean City Fire Marshal’s Office urges spectators to leave fireworks to the professionals. Ground-based sparkling devices are not legal to use or possess in Ocean City.
